we were hav­ing our weekly out­ing with da sitao one saturday…i think it’s an off day that day cos nor­mally i had to work on sat­ur­day one…half day though

it’s our last sat­ur­day in san­dakan :( so we pestered sitao to bring us to mum dai fun (大粉, which lit­er­ally means big noo­dle, aka kueh teow). and 1.5hours later, we ended up here. yup, we were stay­ing in a desert. san­dakan is very pop­u­lar with this kinda float­ing restaurants…hidden behind float­ing houses

it’s a must-mum san­dakan spe­cialty (i think) wei. i have heard about dai fun since day one i landed in san­dakan. it was meant to be my first luchie in san­dakan, but it’s sold out :(

there’s actu­ally two restau­rants for us to choose but da other like no many patrons…so we chose this sim-sim seafood restau­rant wihch serves no pork :(

u won’t get such fresh and cheap seafood other than san­dakan, kk’s is pricier okie!
