English Tea House

so we were there for high tea after visiting Agnes Keith’s House :D

Revisited idyllic days spent in lush gardens amidst the profound tranquility of tropical Sandakan. The English Tea House is superbly situated within the grounds of the historic Agnes Keith House Museum and is housed in a meticulously renovated colonial house surrounded by 1.5 acres of perfectly manicured lawns.

Hi Annant, lovely post and I am sure I will visit Sandakan now. Not many places can pull off an English Tea House. Thanks for the great info!

    Hi,

I wonder whether the tea house owners are behind times! Surely the menu should reflect that
Sandakan is in Sabah, Malaysia before adding Borneo (makes me think of headhunters and
people still living up on trees, lol).

    A true Sandakanite

    • annant says:

u are from sandakan? i super lurve da ambiance there…
i pretend im a rich tai tai sipping tea…this is life haha

  • Cath says:

Glad u like the place, maybe it’s because of the greenery and leisurely way of life in Sandakan. Yeah, that’s the way to enjoy life!

    • annant says:

i miss sabah a lot actually…da seafood. da people. da astaga! (haha). da beach. everything…
will step foot in sabah again next year ;)
