01.Apr.2009 Earth Hour Night

*edited: ohmaigawd! i have forgotten to mention that all da food u gonna see /have seen below are treated by our daiko, loong…thanks babe man

as i had mention earlier on, i spent mine mum-ing and yamcha-ing :D

so here’s da pichasss :)

had dinner at this restaurant which i forgot to snap da sign and i forgot da name as well =.= i think my memory is deteriorating day by day seimou :S

glasses-peanuts

chinese restaurants in bint-ulu only serve certain teas. titkunyam, pou lei, u name it, they don’t have it =.=

as they only serve chinese tea and kok fa =.=

i can bet if it’s in kl, sure wong fei hong shao dong after two days opening.

and it takes so looong for da food to be served, we were all so famished that they almost prohibited me to snap da food =.=

i have to promised that i will snap only thrice. for each dish =.=

baby kailan

after feeding my joe (da camera), we all dug in eagerly

venison

my first time having this…it was like mum-ing chewing gum lo…

yam ring

but i thought da yam was too sweet for my liking :(

pai guat wong

one of da must-order whenever i dine in chinese restaurant :)

told u we were all so famished hence da sticking in of chopsticks

we ordered a soup too but it doesn’t look appealing so no point posting it up here

chomping

then we had second round, yamcha session :)

Secret Café

a newly-opened café in Parkcity, Bint-ulu

cafe-lighting

i thought da lightings are unique. no?

cafe-boozes

boozes on da racks. *burps*

cafe-menu

spot da engrish!

cafe-side-order

hallo meet my french friends!

my must-orders in café

no, u don’t have to remind me how oily they are. seriously

cafe-candles

and lights gradually went off at 8.30pm!

on da dot!

da place suddenly turned into a very lomantic place

which is perfect for lurvey-dovey couple

i was pretty surprised that da owner actually responded to da earth hour campaign u know.

why, why doing so? i asked da louban.

i was just playing my part, and it’s only once a year… he replied.

:)

then we did our thang!

well, u know da earth hour, da candle, da lighting (no, no light, but da light from da candle, u get me?), da people (we haven’t hangout together in awhile)…how can we not camwhore? :P

60 earth hour

i donwan suck all your bandwidth, thus only pics of us with our fingers and emm..candle…and chilli sauce

and da café illuminated gradually after earth hour :)

and we left and went back to our hostel and live eppiely ever after wtf

Wah! Bintulu got such nice places…with such nice food… Wonder why you’re always complaining! You go to some places in the peninsula e.g. Sg Petani, then you know how nice some of the places here are! Not that there are no not-so-nice towns here…but from the look of it, what you call Bint-ULU isn’t half as bad as you make it sound to be!

  • Neo says:

Next time I import tit kuan yin to bintulu and sell there biziness sure veli good hor?

  • cibol says:

Neo, before you can do that — make sure it can beat foochow food first. if not, it’ll be a waste of time .. he he he

i think da only foochow food that i have tasted are kok lok mee and chao chai fen gan…

      • cibol says:
