Would U Rather? – Dress Up or Dress Down

Category : Ann & Ant, Think & Thought, Would U Rather

Going out on dates… Some of us prefer to dress up, to look good with all of the works while some of us prefer to dress down, comfortably.

Which do you prefer? Assume extremes here.

Would You Rather?

1) Dress up.

2) Dress down.

Choose one and explain why!

for me, i choose to dress up…

well, u know, just to play safe…

what if they suddenly change plan wanna go clubbing after that

what if they dress up and im dressing down :(

i had few really mad ordeal with my dates dressing too down :(

just imagine me in heels and he in ah pek slippers (this happened!)

and imagine me in dress and my gals in jeans and t-shirt (this happens most of da time)

dressing too up/ dressing too down makes me feel awkward

i hate it

when im in slipers (not sandals) and house t-shirt (u know those pale wash-out ones…cos i thought only yamcha nearby no need to wear so nice la)

and my friends would change venue last minute to some cafe in town (C)

when i arrive,

so =-O that most of them are cladded in presentable attire :-[

at least no ah ma or ah pek slippers…

what is this la ;-( opposition party izzit! (N)

i was deeply embarrased  with my ah ma slippers :-S that i hid my feet under da chair throughout da yamcha session (W) can u imagine my distorted feet after da two-hours-yamcha?

so, whatabout u? would u rather dress up / dress down ar?

share with me your dressing-too-up/dressing-too-down experience :D

I never bother to dress up. Makes no difference – big, fat and ugly! Hahahahaha!!!

it makes difference lo…ugly nevermind (i mean me) at least u'll look presentable after some dressing like make up :P

dressing up gives you more confidence…but just dont overdo it i guess

exactly! moderate is virtue (<– i create one) :P </b>

ill go half half haha… but if u really wan me to choose, ill go for up

*shakehands* :D

i dont bother to dress up to the nine but i choose my clothes that i feel comfortable in.

sorry dear, i don't really have the time to make layouts for people. im sure there are a lot of tutorials online that could assist you ;)

hmm. hard to answer, sometimes if i dress up, my friends dress in simple tees, shorts and flip flops.

then sometimes, when i dress down, my friends come in fabulous dresses and tops. i guess it's best to make sure where we are going and what type of people we are going to go out with.

i prefer to be in the middle. not too dressy not too simple. i play safe. hehe.

exactly!
that's why we normally would set a theme like dressy day…black black day or colourful night :D

Up or down for you is no difference because you are so pretty!

Dress up – always rather over than underdressed. :)

u have your point!
thanks for dropping by ;)

I always wear a 2/3-long pants , a t-shirt and a sneakers.. XD
and it is comfortable yet i can go from mamak to cafes in it :D

guys never have problem in this problem lo! so unfair!

well i prefer to dress comfortably
i do not like to dress up if i am not comfortable at all
also depends on where I am going, dont tell me i dress all up js to go to night market !

i once saw an 40+ aunty wore a mini shorts + tight-fitting tube + 3inches high heels
i think she's totally insane la…go pasar malam only le u think go shopping mer? :P she's so overdressed…

yeah..someone people just overdressed when going somewhere..

i have a friend,she dressed so elegantly,so i ask wheres she goin…
shes going to the night market..
wht?!

this is what we call so-overly-dressed!!!

that's a safe answer…:D
it's ok babe, i will try to figure out myself…btw, u are a sabahan?

sure or not?…hao fa fa :P

actually i saw before these women who did that way…
sometime it potray badly on how badly they dress until look like sluts

I'll always confirm where are we going first. If its a shopping day out, i'll always go for flats. Heels totally spoils the whole objective:P

but sometimes plan changes…last minute…
shopping with flats is da best..but i likey heels cos they make my legs look like omg so long :D

exactly…she thinks she looks glam…we think she's siao zha bo :S
